Dr. Casha Smith is a native of Prince George’s County, Maryland. She graduated with honors in 2005 from South Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and then Doctorate in Chiropractic from Sherman Chiropractic College. Dr. Smith obtained the postgraduate designation of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) by the America Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians™ (ACBSP™). With this, she joined an elite group of practitioners who are recognized internationally for their advanced skills in the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries as well as diagnostic skills and patient care.

Dr. Smith is proficient in various treatment techniques including chiropractic adjustments, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Graston Technique, and Selective Functional Movement Assessment.

Dr. Smith is also certified in ART (Active Release Techniques), a state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow have all been treated successfully using this technique. ART is often used to treat top athletes around the country.

Dr. Smith understands the need for patients to heal quickly, without compromising the integrity of their bodies. With her extensive knowledge and hands-on experience she is committed to going beyond the exploration of symptoms to identify the root causes of her patients by embracing both the art and science of human body.

Dr. Smith also serves as an active EMT with the Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department, Maryland Chiropractic Association, Virginia Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Association. During her free time, she enjoys kickboxing, running, paintballing and watching football.

Jason Schreiber
Rehab Specialist

Jason Schreiber is the owner of Maryland Kettlebells, voted by Washingtonian Magazine as the “Most Intense Kettlebell Training in Washington D.C.” in 2012. He graduated from University of Maryland with a BS in Kinesiology, and from there, cultivated a career in strength and conditioning and injury prevention for athletes.

He currently holds fitness certifications as a CSCS, HKC Kettlebell Coach, USA Weightlifting Club Coach, FMS Assessment, and CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.

In addition, Jason holds a Chiropractic Assistant (CA) License in the State of Maryland, which allows him to teach Therapeutic Exercises to Chiropractic Patients. Jason has been married to his lovely wife Yvette for 6 years.

When asked why he believes so strongly in Chiropractic medicine, he replied… “when it comes to musculoskeletal or neuromuscular injuries, no one is better trained than a seasoned Chiropractor to uncover the root of the problem.”

Office Manager

Liz has over 12 years experience in the medical field, with 3 of those years managing our chiropractic office. Each day she greets the patients with her smile and infectious enthusiasm, creating a positive environment that feels more like a family than a work place. When she is not in the office, she spends her remaining time with family and friends. Liz grew up in Bolivia and enjoys sports, music, travel and Zumba. Liz is bilingual (Spanish & English) and is experienced with insurance billing.

Chiropractic Assistant

Susie is the newest addition to our office. However she is no stranger to the chiropractic profession; acquiring over six years of experience of chiropractic assistant, including two as an office manager. Susie is responsible for attending to patient care, coordinating insurance, and scheduling patients. She enjoys helping patients to achieve their ideal health. When not in the office, she is spending time with her two boys and loving husband.
